What you're getting musically
(And what you're not)
When Kit Mann plays, what you are getting is an acoustic, introspective show full of music and lyrics that tell a story. You can expect anywhere from 1-3 sets (depending upon your needs).
Each set will have approximately 12 songs, more than half of those will be originals with the remaining songs being cover versions of songs from bands such as The Wallflowers, Counting Crows, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Issak, REM and others.
What you are not getting is party music nor a cover band.
The sets are carefully curated so that songs are familiar, yet new. It also might help to know that Kit doesn't typically play requests,
We want to make sure that everyone knows that his shows are perfect for venues where no one is expecting a dance band or wall-shaking rock.
Kit shows up on time, even extra early if needed, to set up and sound check. This is based on YOUR schedule and we strive to be efficient and professional. Obviously this is best done without patrons present, but if that is not possible, we attempt to be as unobtrusive as possible.
Aside from a pre-show beer every now and then, Kit does not drink during the show and does not allow any band members (if the band is coming) to drink during the performance.
Please see below for details about set-up and tech riders.

Sound Setups:
If your venue has a preffered/In-house PA/Sound system and board we will require inputs for 3 microphones, two acoustic/electric guitars, one keyboard and 4 DI pedals, and one rear facing monitor (minimum, two is optimal). If you have your own PA system, you will need to provide your own sound engineer (if needed) during the performance.
If your venue does NOT have a dedicated PA/Sound system, we can provide a 1000 WATT, small footprint performance PA . This PA is a state of the art digital, single column speaker array that can fill most rooms with plenty of sound. If you venue is large, like a gymnasium or an airport hanger sized venue, we can bring additional satellite speakers.
Additional Tech Gear: We will provide all needed extension cords and surge protectors. We will need access to two grounded power outlets within 25 feet of the stage. We will duct tape cords to floors to prevent tripping, if required.
